We walked all the way to Serpentine and the rain oh my god I thought we would never get there. My drink was amazing but i just cant remember what it was. Before Megan left we went to the Skill Share in Oakland. Its this sic spot where DJs and acrobats go to play around on equipment. There were some fire tossing people and some chicks swinging from hoops and long drapping pieces of fabric from the ceiling all Cirque de Soliel. It was awesome to see all of the art that they had in this collective area. I really wish I had taken more photos of the building as a whole but I was too busy playing around. BUT........

I did get a snap of this beautiful Birch sculpture.....

I did get my snack on...this trap of fudge was heaven.

There was a secret grove of Victorian lamps.

Me and Megan found a rack of costumes and an unoccupied stair case.

There was free range art plastered everywhere. Apparently you could paint wherever you
"felt" the art should be. I LOVED this idea.

The night ended with tons of portraits and four splitzy dishes at CAN'T FAIL

So we had an awesome double date with Darryl and Ellen. While waiting for the
71 there was this hilarious Lesbo clown group singing for peeps on the street.
Then it was off to Hobsons Choice for some PUNCH!!!!

It was sooooo good they had three different kinds. Dangerous to say the least.

Spending 45 mins on the wait list for Magnolia got us pretty excited.

A fast getaway led to visual spectaculars...like this Sesame Street expression. And Ariel said it herself so I'm not wearing my dis face. New Hope hosts this crazy counter bar brunch spot called Fred's, named after the owners Burmese Mountain dog. We had to wait an hour and forty minutes, but there's free coffee, and a freaking side of bacon comes with six pieces. Most mark able thing is that you have to have a secret key to even be seated or served. Lucky for us fun happened way before the drama of the hungry started. They gave us duck feed so we could pass the time, then we met some little kids who knew way too many words for their age.

This is Cat Cat. She lives at my house. Her room is in the dresser we found on the street.
Shes a pretty good mom cat. When we try to show her kittens the benefits of life outside the dresser she politely says no...the kittens have sleeping to attended to.
Someday they will grow up to be a wonderful coat lining.

I was all walking down the street and I saw this crazy art installation being put up.
Apparently it was designed and conceived by Rob Ley and Joshua Stein.
Here is a video of what it is supposed to look like and some babble jabble that does not make sense to me.

Reef redefines the role of architectural envelope by capitalizing on emerging material technology to imbue space with behavioral qualities. In this installation at Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York, the public engages in the new social nuances revealed as exhibition is redefined by exploding the perceived 'wall' separating private and public space. The responsive membrane creates a diverse range of porous and dynamic enclosures capable of producing sophisticated, flexible responses to an existing program. Reef creates an interior condition which reacts according to an exterior street-scape, and reasserts an active, willful role in shaping that public space.

Does anyone understand this?

Later I took Alena, Felicia, and Miss Chris to go see it on the opening night.
There were a lot of fancy people there ......I was all .."Let us use the installation to shield us from their mediocrity!"

Then we made our own live installation.

Later Miss Chriss asked when the twinkle lights were gonna go on.
The curator was all .."Ugh..there are no lights"(insert disgusted look here)
Then we left feeling less cultured than when we got there.
